About the Role
Teys Australia has an exciting opportunity for an Export Sales Manager to join our Commercial team based at our Group Support Services office located in Eight Mile Plains, on the south side of Brisbane. Reporting to the General Manager Sales, this role will lead and grow our offshore sales portfolio, driving product pricing optimisation and performance across all categories.
In this pivotal position, the successful candidate will champion sales activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Production, Marketing, and Logistics to align on sales results, scheduling, pricing, and margin management.
Additional role requirements include:
- Global supply and demand analysis to maximise category margin
- Business development in consideration of changing market dynamics
- Manage product offers to customers based on supply availability
- Manage customer relationships end-to-end to ensure ongoing business opportunities
- New product development in response to customer demand
- Undertake forecasting, scheduling, and annual budgeting to meet business expectations
- Conduct category and product costing analysis for pricing review and performance analysis
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align reporting requirements and strengthen key relationships.

About You
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
- 10+ years in a similar role within an export beef sales and marketing environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Commerce/Business/Marketing or related discipline
- Strong analytical skills in Supply and Demand planning and execution
- Experience in global protein trade, with knowledge of agricultural production systems
- Possess strong business acumen, contract negotiation and leadership skills
- Advanced computer skills with proven experience in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships across the business
- Prior experience with new product development, product promotion and brand launch activities are highly regarded.
