About the Role

Teys Australia is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane. The role will be responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to develop financial reports, perform data analysis, support forecasting activities, and assist with projects according to business needs.

The successful candidate will analyse and evaluate the company’s historical & macroeconomics data, provide data insights to guide strategic business decisions as well as support financial performance analysis across the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking either a part-time or full-time position, who is eager to develop and apply analytical skills across different areas of the business whilst building strong relationships with great leaders in the red meat industry.

About You

It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:

• Undergraduate Finance/Accounting (or related discipline) degree 
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Personal qualities of integrity, reliability, and commitment with a sense of confidentiality
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously

Desirable

• Previous knowledge and interest in the livestock, agricultural, and food manufacturing industries
• Tableau and or Microsoft Power BI exposure
