About the Role

Teys Australia is seeking a Cold Store Operator to join the Load Out team based at our Naracoorte processing site in South Australia.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is desired, along with knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocols.

A Cold Store Operator in a meatworks facility is responsible for managing the incoming and outgoing goods within the warehouse.

Their duties include:

•  Loading and unloading trucks using forklifts or other equipment.

•  Recording and maintaining accurate inventory records using computerized systems.

•  Inspecting incoming & outgoing shipments of supplies, equipment, and products.

•  Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment according to company standards.

•  Performing regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies or shortages.

•  Complying with health and safety regulations and ensuring warehouse safety standards are met.

About You

You must meet the following requirements:

•  Australian Citizen/Permanent Residency/Full Working Rights in Australia

•  Willing to complete a pre-employment medical check, including a drug and alcohol test

•  Q-Fever vaccinated (or willing to get)

•  Minimum 1 year forklift driving experience

•  Be able to work in cold environment
