About the Role

Teys Australia is seeking general labourers to join our by-products facility based at our Murgon processing site in Queensland.

The role will be responsible for general activities in the fleshing and salting department including:

• Fleshing and trimming hides, ensuring minimal damage
• Operate the fleshing machine 
• Report defects on hide condition to Production Supervisor (ie hair slip, odour, etc).
• Maintain the work area clean and tidy.
• Pack hides to the approved and assigned pallets, ensuring that stacks are square and neat.
• Ensure finished pallets are correctly labelled.
• Work within company safety and environmental guidelines.

About You

You must have the following experience/skills:

• A “can do” attitude & willingness to learn
• Australian resident with full working rights in Australia 
• Pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol test
• Q-Fever vaccinated (or willing and able to obtain)
• Follow best practices in workplace health & safety
