About the Role
We are now seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager, Value Add to join the Teys Australia Food Solutions team, based both at our Morningside facility and Eight Mile Plains office, Brisbane.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will set and deliver the strategy, commercial execution and long term growth of our value-added portfolio. You will drive innovation, strengthen our customer partnerships and ensure integration across insights, supply chain, marketing and manufacturing to create meaningful, differentiated food solutions.
This role requires a blend of commercial leadership, strategic thinking and operational influence, with end to end accountability for performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion a culture where safety, wellbeing and proactive risk management are embedded in all activities.
- Establish and lead the sales and account management strategy for retail aligned and food solutions customer segments.
- Oversee commercial activities including pricing, cost reviews, negotiations and compliance to support sustainable earnings and enterprise value creation.
- Drive best practice processes, systems and methodologies to enhance capability and enable scalable growth.
- Strengthen enterprise wide integration across insights, marketing, go to market and supply chain.
- Partner closely with the Enterprise GM Manufacturing to ensure operational excellence across TAFS sites, including safety, quality, cost control and continuous improvement
- Lead, develop and coach high performing commercial teams, fostering a customer centric and results driven culture.
About You
Essential:
- At least ten (10+) years’ experience within a commercial leadership role, at an executive level
- Tertiary qualifications in sales, business, or related commercial discipline.
- Proven success driving commercial strategy, revenue growth and customer value
- Experience working with retail and ecommerce channels, both global and domestic highly regarded
- Strong understanding of contemporary sales approaches within retail channels and related segments
- Ability to influence behaviour, lead change and build strong customer relationships
- Demonstrated personal attributes of drive, leadership, resilience and initiative
