About the Role:
Both Full time and casual roles are available, with 6 months free accommodation on offer!
We are looking for an experienced Ground Stockperson to join our team at our Jindalee Feedlot located near Temora, Regional NSW to assist with the day-to-day operations of the feedlot.
Role responsibilities include:
- General low-stress cattle handling
- Diagnosing animal health with an emphasis on animal welfare
- Arrival and dispatch of cattle
- Administration of the animal health treatments
- Maintaining accurate daily records, such as data entry (training provided).
About You
An enthusiastic person who has a genuine interest in working in the feedlot industry and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
- Excellent cattle handling skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to foster a team environment
- Be able to work autonomously
- Be able to follow and comply with workplace policies and procedures
- High attention to detail
- Q-fever vaccinated (or willingness to get).
- A great full time permanent package starting from: $30.86 p/hour + 11.5% Super
- Quarterly meat bonus
