About the Role

Teys Australia is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Group Manager Learning & Development to join our Human Resources team based at our Group Support Services office in Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane. This is a pivotal role responsible for designing and implementing leadership development programs enhancing our talent skills and succession planning.

Reporting to our General Manager of People & Culture, this position will identify training requirements and create strategic programs facilitating employee development and the emergence of new leaders at our organisation.

Using tools as e-Learning and talent systems, employee assessments and mentoring programs, the successful candidate will elevate our business capability to attract, train and retain key talents as well as support the managers with resources to improve leadership skills.

About You

It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:

  • Demonstrate experience developing and implementing leadership programs for large-scale organisations
  • At least 5 years of experience in Learning & Development management/ education roles or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships within a diverse environment
  • Sound experience understanding learning methods and instructional design
  • Ability to manage multiple resources and deliver effective training

Desirable:

  • Experience within a food manufacturing environment
  • Academic courses in instructional design, behavioural psychology, and educational psychology
  • Exposure to Learning Management Systems
  • Proficient use in Microsoft Office suite
