About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and hands on Group Training Manager to join our Operations team and drive Safety, consistency, compliance and capability across our national footprint.
Reporting to the GM Group Operations, you’ll lead our training systems, WHS and food safety competency frameworks, and support sites to deliver high quality, standardised training that keeps our people safe and our operations running efficiently every day.
This is a role where you’ll work closely with site teams, building best in class training frameworks, troubleshoot in real time, and shape how thousands of people are onboarded, upskilled and supported across a complex FMCG environment.
Key Focus Areas
- Standardising training systems and competency frameworks across all sites.
- Ensuring compliance with WHS, food safety and regulatory requirements.
- Building real time skills matrices and support smarter workforce planning.
- Partnering with Site Training Managers to lift training quality and consistency.
- Leading internal/external audits, manage RTO relationships and drive continuous improvement.
About You
You thrive in a fast paced environment and enjoy providing hands on support as much as leading training and development frameworks. You’re someone who brings energy, structure and strong follow through to your work with a commitment to building capability and supporting safe, efficient operations.
Your background ideally includes:
- Strong understanding of WHS, food safety and competency based training.
- Proven experience leading operational training, competency management, or workforce capability in an industrial, manufacturing, or processing environment.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) or significant demonstrated experience delivering and leading operational, WHS, or compliance training.
- High digital proficiency across training systems, data bases and reporting tools.
- Ability to standardise processes and influence leaders across multiple sites.
- A collaborative mindset and passion for developing people.
