About the Role

Teys Australia is seeking an experienced and driven Health Centre Coordinator to join our team based at our production site in Beenleigh, Queensland. The role is responsible for providing an efficient, cost- effective and prompt first aid services.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the successful candidate will assist with injury prevention while managing rehabilitation and return to work programs. The position will ensure equipment and materials are maintained and disposed appropriately as well as keeping medical records accurate and up to date in HRIS systems.

Additionally, the role will liaise with relevant health care professionals and self-insured organisations to ensure accurate administration of all injury management, support workers compensation claims and other medical requirements.

About You

It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:

  • Qualified Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse 
  • Possession of Occupational First aid certificate
  • Possession of current CPR certificate
  • Rehabilitation and Return to Work Certification
  • Relevant experience in managing the daily functions of a Health Centre
  • Excellent teamwork and personal skills

Desirable:

  • Exposure to a Health Centre within a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of WH&S practises in a manufacturing environment
  • Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordination in a manufacturing environment
  • Drug and Alcohol Testing Certification
