About the Role
Teys Australia is seeking a motivated and reliable HR Officer to join the Human Resources team based at our Beenleigh processing site in Queensland. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating a diverse portfolio of activities aligned with the overall HR strategy and end-to-end employee lifecycle services to our teams.
Responsibilities and role details include:
- Be the first point of contact for all HR related enquiries
- Onboarding new employees
- Participating in disciplinary meetings
- Overseeing performance management
- Supporting payroll activities when required.
- Working hours: 4:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday to Friday and occasionally Saturdays.
This exciting opportunity will play an active role in promoting employee engagement and recognition initiatives, providing advice and guidance to the business leaders and supporting return to work activities.
About You
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
- One or two years of practical HR experience or have performed a similar role;
- Advanced computer literacy and numeracy skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Desirable:
- Experience in interpreting industrial instruments including Enterprise Agreements.
- Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant HR discipline.
