About the Role

Teys Australia is seeking a motivated HR/Payroll Officer to join our Human Resources team in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. This exciting position is responsible for coordinating payroll functions, ensuring pay runs are completed accurately as well as general HR activities across the whole employee lifecycle.

The role will act as the first point of contact for Payroll and HR related enquiries and will coordinate onboarding processes, inputting time sheets data in the payroll system as well as calculating earnings and deductions among other payroll activities.

The successful candidate will also collaborate closely with the HR Manager to assist with engagement, training, reporting, return-to-work processes, performance management, and recruitment.

About You

It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:

  • At least three (3) years’ experience in administering payroll in a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to HR functions
  • Computer Literacy and Numeracy skills to an advanced level
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Completion of year 12
