About the Role

Teys Australia is seeking an IT Integration Developer to join the Business Data & Analytics team based at our Group Support Services office in Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane. The role will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting integrations between enterprise business systems.

Working within an established AWS cloud environment, the successful candidate will deliver reliable, scalable integration solutions focusing on data flow improvement and business process efficiency.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with integration and API experience who enjoys working across systems, solving problems, and supporting production environments.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Build cloud-native and serverless solutions using AWS services
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations
  • Monitor and support production integrations, resolving incidents and defects
  • Support interface changes, upgrades, testing, and releases
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders on integration requirements
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement

About You

You must have the following experience/skills:

  • Professional experience in integration and/or software development
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline 
  • Experience with Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
  • Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and SQS
  • Experience building serverless and event-driven integrations
  • Experience working with JSON/XML, data transformations, and SQL databases
  • Experience supporting production systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desirable:

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or CDK)
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or automated deployments
  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms or middleware
  • Exposure to enterprise systems (CRM, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR)
  • Experience working in Agile environments
