About the Role
Teys Australia is seeking a highly detailed and organised Livestock Clerk to join our Livestock team based at our Biloela processing site in Queensland. The role will be responsible for the administrative and office support for Livestock procurement. This role requires demonstrated knowledge of cattle breeds, descriptions, and strong administration experience.
Role responsibilities:
- Processing of sale-yard purchases, running stock-processed reports, invoice payments, as well as handling related queries.
- Communicate and liaise with service processing providers and livestock buyers.
- Assist in the development, and improvement of systems and operating manuals.
- Assist in the training as and when required
- General administrative tasks, document control, and record keeping.
About You
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
- Education to Year 12
- Demonstrated numeracy and computer skills
- Personal qualities of reliability, confidentiality, commitment, and attention to detail
- Computer literacy – Office 365 - Excel, Word, Access
- Excellent communication skills.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of cattle breeds and terminology used in their descriptionJD Edward software
- Demonstrated ability to perform an account’s function
- Post-secondary studies in an accounting discipline.
