About the Role

Teys Australia is currently seeking a motivated Lubrication Technician/Trade Assistant to join our Maintenance Team at our Biloela facility in Central Queensland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a Lubrication background who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will support our skilled trades team with preventive maintenance, including lubrication services such as oil changes and filter replacements in machinery and chains.

We are committed to developing the right candidate and will provide on-the-job training to enable backup support for the broader maintenance team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing lubrication services, oil changes, filter replacement, and application of lubricants
• Assisting with general maintenance and repair activities as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
• Supporting safe and efficient plant operation through preventative maintenance
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace, ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials according to safety and environmental regulations
• Working hours 3pm-11pm Monday to Friday (some Saturday's required)

About You

It is essential that you have the following experience/skills

• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks
• Previous experience as a lubrication technician/trade assistant 
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
• Demonstrated ability and aptitude in mechanical systems and diagnosing downfaults.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in the FMCG industry
