Maintenance Electrician


We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our dynamic team in the maintenance department of our meat processing plant. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our processing equipment, contributing to the overall success of our production processes.

 

Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Repairs:

  • Fault find Motor, control circuits and emergency stop controls.
  • Process equipment repair \ replacement as needed.
  • Undertake repairs and maintenance of electrical components within the plant.

Technical Expertise:

  • Possess Soft starter, VSD and PLC experience (Desirable).
  • Develop circuit drawings and read existing .
  • Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting VSDs & PLCs.
  • General industrial refrigeration experience (Desirable).

Installation and Connectivity:

  • Install new machines as required.
  • Connect and disconnect machinery, ensuring proper functionality.

Additional Skills (Desirable):

  • PLC and HMI programming skills.
  • Knowledge of fire systems.
  • Industrial Refrigeration (Ammonia)

 Requirements:

  • South Australian electrical license (PGE).
  • Current driver's license.
  • Self-motivated and results driven.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation.
  • Ability to work and contribute within a team environment.

Payment and Working Hours:

  • Starting package: $98301.67 + Super.
  • Starting rate: $47.26 per hour + $3.23 per hour.
  • Lifestyle roster: 40 hours per week with reasonable overtime where applicable.
