About the Role
Teys Australia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Scheduler to join the Asset Management team based at our Biloela processing site in Central Queensland.
Reporting to our Facility Asset Manager, this role will be responsible for scheduling the maintenance activities and team members to maximising the resources on site.
This successful candidate will develop and implement forward planned weekday, weekend and shutdown maintenance schedules, while measuring and implementing continuous improvement strategies enhancing maintenance workflows.
Other role requirements include:
- Work order and parts staging
- Update and reporting of asset management KPI’s.
- Implement and coordinate maintenance reliability best practices.
- Apply and coordinate predictive and preventative maintenance best practices.
- Carry out Root Cause Analyses and best practise repair methodology for plant equipment failures.
- Critical spares reviews
- Uphold and promote safety practices in the workplace.
About You
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
- A tertiary trade qualification or engineering qualification or maintenance planning/scheduling qualification.
- Demonstrate experience in maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Sound knowledge in maintenance planning and scheduling essential.
- Previous exposure to the food manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Desirable:
- Direct experience in an export meat processing plant.
- Advanced computer literacy skills.
- 5+ years’ experience in fixed plant maintenance procedures and proactive maintenance strategies
- Strong
experience in Root Cause Analysis, Preventive and Maintenance Optimisation.
