About the role
Join our Jindalee team working as a Maintenance Team Member providing repair, maintenance, and capital works service at our site.
The responsibilities include:
- Assisting tradespersons with diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Recommend ways to maximise efficiency and minimise costs of utilities.
- Recommend ways to enhance productivity, efficiency and profitability of the plant.
- Attend to urgent maintenance breakdowns to avoid loss of production.
- Carry out repair work in accordance with maintenance planning schedules.
- Carry out all mechanical repairs in accordance with Teys Australia WHS policies and procedures.
About You:
Essential:
- Knowledge of heavy agricultural equipment, diesel/mechanical fitting, milling equipment, water pumps and environment technology.
- MIG and stick welding experience.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic operations.
- Current drivers’ licence,
- Q-Fever
Vaccination (or willing to get)
Desirable:
- Forklift licence or willingness to get one.
- A trade/qualification certificate.
