About the Role
Teys Food Solutions is seeking Night Shift Industrial Cleaners & a Leading Hand to join the cleaning team based at our Morningside processing site in Queensland.
These are full time positions working Monday to Friday 8 pm to 4:30 am with weekend work when required.
This is a physical role offering the opportunity to be part of a small cleaning team responsible for ensuring that hygiene & food safety standards are upheld.
Duties include:
- Disassembling machinery
- Hosing
- Using foaming equipment
- Cleaning machinery
- Sanitising equipment
- Assembling machinery
- Rubbish removal
- Checking & verifying cleaning standards
About You
It is essential that you have the following:
- Food industry experience, preferably meat – desirable
- Cleaning experience - desirable
- Able to work in a cold wet environment
- Ability to work alone & as part of a small team
- Good time management skills
- Punctual, reliable & strong attention to detail
- Australian resident with full working rights in Australia
- Pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol test
- Be able to provide two reference checks
