About the Role

Teys Australia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Enrolled or Registered Nurse to join the team as an Occupational Nurse. This high-volume role will effectively support and work with the operational team and be responsible for the rehabilitation of all its employees. 

You will be responsible for assessing and facilitating effective return to work processes for employees, working within industry guidelines, and the company’s best practices to ensure seamless rehabilitation. You will be promoting the services available, assisting in first aid routine, and providing emergency and non-urgent medical treatment to all employees.

Additionally, you will ensure Health Centre compliance, and general day-to-day operations whilst maintaining excellent communication and people skills. 

Other requirements will include:

  • Conduct Alcohol/Drug testing.
  • Conduct pre-employment medical assessments.
  • Rehabilitation and return to work coordination.
  • Participate in providing employees with access to wellness programs.

With our employees health, safety and wellbeing a number one priority, we are currently trialling a fortnightly rotating roster to provide 24/7 coverage to all members of our teams. The roster hours will vary between a day, afternoon and night schedule. We encourage you to call us to discuss further.

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Current or willing to obtain Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator accreditation.
  • Current First Aid / CPR certificate, and willingness to obtain Occupational First Aid certification (paid by Teys)
  • Current (or willingness to obtain paid by Teys) Drug and Alcohol Testing certification.
  • Current (or willingness to complete paid by Teys) audio testing certification.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel and Word
