About the Role
Teys Australia is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Payroll Officer to join our Human Resources team at our Beenleigh site. This exciting position is responsible for coordinating payroll functions, ensuring pay runs are completed accurately.
Reporting to our Group Payroll Manager, the Payroll Officer will set up new employees in the system, verify and validate time and attendance records inputting correct data into our payroll system. Additionally, the role will address employee inquiries, and update appropriate deductions and benefits when applicable. The successful candidate will also be responsible for understanding and applying EBA;’s, awards, Acts and other legislative documents that affect employee payments.
About You
- At least three (3) years’ experience in administering payroll
- Computer Literacy and Numeracy skills to an advanced level
- Excellent organisational skills
- Completion of at least year 12
