About the Role
Teys Australia is seeking a detail orientated and organised Payroll Officer to join our collaborative Finance team. This role will be based at our Group Support Services (GSS) Office located in Eight Mile Plains, South of Brisbane, Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively actioning and supporting the functions of Payroll across our Wagga Wagga production site.
Reporting to our Payroll Manager, the daily activities will include ensuring pay runs are accurately completed and delivered to meet deadlines, dealing with a high volume of data entry and appropriate deduction calculations, as well as maintaining employee Time and Attendance rosters and schedules.
Additionally, this position also involves filing employee documents, generating reports, managing Superannuation funds, and other tasks related to our Finance team.
About You
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
- Completion of HSC (year 12)
- At least three (3) years experience in administering payroll
- Computer Literacy and Numeracy skills to an advanced level
- Excellent organisational skills.

- Experience in payroll administration within the meat industry
- Knowledge of Chris21/iChris payroll solutions and time & attendance solutions
- Proven expertise in complex EBA calculations and spreadsheeting
