About the Role:
Both Full time and casual roles are available, with 6 months free accommodation on offer!
In this role, you willwork as part of a team to ensure the health, welfare, and efficient handling of cattle within our feedlot. We’ve recently added new state-of-the art cattle feedings sheds, brand-new milling facilities, and new stables for stock horses - creating an environment where our people and animals can thrive.

Key Role Responsibilities:
- Animal health and welfare – including daily cattle monitoring
- Cattle handling and movement –safely and with low-stress handling techniques
- Feedlot operations support – assisting with pen maintenance
- Compliance and Safety – adhering to Teys’ animal welfare policies
- Team collaboration – work closely with your team to contribute to continuous improvement on site.
About You:
We are looking for a new team member with the following skills and attributes:
- Strong horsemanship and cattle handling skills.
- Minimum two horses (Hendra vaccinated) and riding gear (allowances for upkeep)
- Knowledge of animal health, husbandry and welfare practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
- Good communication and record-keeping skills.
- Commitment to teamwork and safety (including Q-Fever vaccination).
