About the Role
Teys Australia is seeking an experienced and committed Render Operator to join the Afternoon Shift Operations team based at our Tamworth processing site in Tamworth, NSW. The role will be responsible for ensuring all rendered product meets customer specifications and aligns with company policy and procedures.
Role responsibilities:
- Ensure all product meets customer specifications and procedures are carried out in accordance with company polices
- Maintain production levels ensuring downtime is minimised and product exiting the department is in accordance with food hygiene and safety standards
- Ensure all necessary documentation is competed and reported to the Render Supervisor
- Maintain and comply with company environmental plans
- Other work as directed by the Rendering Supervisor
This role is to cover the Afternoon Shift Operations. The hours of work are 2:50pm to 11:40pm – Monday to Friday.
About You
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
- Experience using Citect SCADA software
- Experience working with heavy industrial equipment and machinery
- Ability to carry out work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Personal qualities of leadership, commitment and organisation
Desirable:
- ARA accredited
- Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to apply the ARA code of practice
- Current fork-lift licence (or willingness to obtain)

This role will have an Entry Level rate of $25.89. Once deemed competent, you will receive a rate of $30.98 + 7.5% shift loading.
