About the Role
Teys Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Trade Assistant to join the Maintenance team based at our Beenleigh processing site in Queensland.
You will be a full-time employee right from the start, earning a wage + super with occasional overtime, penalty rates + other great benefits!
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience in a similar trade assistant/laborer role.
- Physically fit and capable of handling repetitive and manual tasks in cold, wet environments.
- Willingness to work in a meat processing facility (including exposure to blood, raw meat, and by-products).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow strict hygiene and safety standards.
- Q-Fever vaccinated (or willing to get)
- Two professional references
- Excellent communication and technical skills
- Be organised and committed, and turn up for your shift on time, every time
- Be safe and act responsibly, safety is everyone’s responsibility including you
- Be a team player and willing to help others get the job done
