About the Role
Responsible for the provision and execution of maintenance on all chains and rails within the plant and to ensure standards are met in terms of quality of work, hygiene and specifications as required by Department of Ag.
With various areas that require cleaning and maintenance of rails you could find yourself doing the following duties:
- Oil and lubricate all rails and chains on site.
- Keep all equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Maintain all automatic lubrication systems within the plant.
- Inform supervisors of any concerns regarding rails, gates and chains.
- To maintain standards and company policies and procedures.
- To conform to regulations and standards.
- Prevent rail fall out that could compromise product quality.
About you
- Current drivers licence.
- Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident
- Willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing and pre-employment medical assessment.
- Be Q Fever vaccinated or willing to get (paid by TEYS)
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Willing to work afternoon shifts or day shifts
- Able to work unsupervised.
- Self-driven and motivated.
- Problem solving and decision making.
- Understand and follow work instructions and standard operating procedures.
