About the Job

Responsible for the provision and execution of maintenance on all chains and rails within the plant and to ensure standards are met in terms of quality of work, hygiene and specifications as required by Department of Ag.

With various areas that require cleaning and maintenance of rails you could find yourself doing the following duties:

 

  • Oil and lubricate all rails and chains on site.
  • Keep all equipment and tools in good working condition.
  • Maintain all automatic lubrication systems within the plant.
  • Inform supervisors of any concerns regarding rails, gates and chains.
  • To maintain standards and company policies and procedures.
  • To conform to regulations and standards.
  • Prevent rail fall out that could compromise product quality.
  • Hourly rate at $34.25.
 

 

To be successful, you must meet the following requirements:

 

  • Current drivers licence.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and technical skills.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Physically fit.
  • Able to work unsupervised.
  • Self-driven and motivated.
  • Problem solving and decision making.
  • Understand and follow work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Working at our Wagga Wagga NSW meat processing site, we can offer you a full-time, secure, and permanent job including industry training within a supportive team. You will be a valued team member and will work in a fast-paced environment that has a focus on safety and wellbeing.

 

As a full-time, permanent employee, you will work a minimum of 38 hours per week, commencing around 3pm Monday to Friday with the potential for overtime and weekend work.
