About the Role

Teys Australia is seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor to join our Charlton Feedlot team, halfway between Melbourne and Mildura in Victoria.

Reporting to the Feedlot Operations Manager, the role will be responsible for driving the mechanical maintenance team coordinating repairs, preventative programs and initiatives aligned with the group strategies. The successful candidate will ensure health and safety practices are being followed and support additional training to eliminate potential risks.

The role will also be responsible for engaging internal and external stakeholders to implement and monitor practices to minimise environmental harm. 

About You

You must have the following experience/skills:

• Trade Qualifications with current industry experience.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate multi-disciplined trade teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, decision making and technical skills.

Desirable:

• Direct experience in food industry (FMCG) or manufacturing plant.
• Current experience in leading a repair and maintenance team.
• Strong computer literacy skills and experience with CMMS programs.
• Knowledge of and experience in contemporary management of refrigeration, wastewater, steam generation and environmental technology.
